ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
A HUGE Thank you to Lyn & Peter for the warm welcome and being so friendly and accomodating to our group.
A staff trip all the way from the Bay of Islands we were tired & cold BUT everything in the Lodge was so convenient, clean and there were large quantities of everything we needed.
Lyn even made sure the fire was going when we got there and when we returned from activities…Such a lovely touch.

The beds were so comfy and even the finer details of light switches conveniently placed near our beds. The Bathroom was Amazing for a group and best of all the Lodge was definately set up for groups, bonding and just chilling together.

GREAT communication from the get go and so friendly.

One of the BEST Accomodations I have experienced in my 20+ years in the Industry.
THANK YOU SO MUCH we will treasure the time we had there…

A dream in Paradise – We spent 4 nights in the Country Room. It was very spacious & comfortable with a window seat overlooking the garden that could seat two. There was a wet room bathroom & a kitchen which had all the equipment you needed to be self contained. A bonus was being able to use the sweeping garden right down to the river.

Very relaxing – We spent 4 nights here in the Country room, and really enjoyed it. A very relaxing and peaceful rural setting, but not far at all from Rotorua and all the attractions. If you are into trout fishing Mark can be of great help. The gardens and the stream are beautiful. Excellent setting for a couple with enough facilities to be self sufficient. The beds were very comfortable.
But the Lodge which sleeps up to 12 people is also very well set up for bigger groups, with lots of space.
We really enjoyed our stay. Mark & Heather are great hosts.

Great little spot – We stayed here for three nights in April, the room was extremely comfortable, particularly the bed. The room is well appointed and has all that you need to self cater or just relax. The location is fantastic, far enough away from town to feel rural but close enough to access restaurants and the local attractions. The grounds are beautiful, spectacular gardens and having direct access to the stream a particular highlight. Mark and Heather are welcoming hosts. Very good value for money.

The best place to stay in NZ. Sharp, very clean, quiet, cosy.

Lovely property, with the open spaces, gardens and the stream. Great for swimming (if you can brave the cold), and some yard cricket. The Main lodge was great for large groups and we easily fitted 12 people without it seeming overcrowded. In a peaceful area, yet only a short drive to the main attractions at Rotorua. Would highly recommend to others.

The Paradise Valley Lodge is set in a beautiful location. Our stay there was so relaxing – just what we needed for a hectic sporting weekend. The girls’ had room to spread out, to relax and enjoyed the ‘swim’ in the beautiful clear stream to ease all their muscle aches and pains. Mark and Heather were amazing hosts, when the light fuse blew at 4am Mark said that I should have rung him to fix it! I of course hadn’t but his offer showed a definite commitment to providing top class service!

Beautiful setting in the country with clean, modern rooms. Just a short drive into Rotorua town and close to a lot of the activity centres. Heather was very lovely to deal with. I would definitely recommend this place.
